GoWood is a Latvian wood fuel manufacturer with over 10 years’ experience producing high-quality firewood and kindling products for growing international markets. What began as a focused kindling operation has developed into a large-scale, efficient production business built on Nordic values, technical expertise and a strong respect for nature.

From the outset, GoWood has taken a practical, hands-on approach to production. Our first investment was the development of two self-designed kindling production machines, allowing us to control quality, consistency and efficiency from day one. This foundation of innovation and precision continues to shape how we operate today.

Experience Built Over a Decade

Founded more than ten years ago, GoWood has steadily expanded in response to market demand while maintaining a clear focus on product quality and reliability. Today, we operate two manufacturing plants in the Latvian countryside, located in Limbaži and Daugavpils, producing up to 5,324,800 bags of wood fuel products per year.

To support continued growth and meet increasing customer demand, we are currently developing two new large-scale manufacturing plants. These investments reflect our long-term commitment to capacity, consistency and dependable supply for our partners.

Millions of bags per year

Today we are producing up to 5 324 800 bags of products in our two manufacturing plants in the countryside of Latvia – Limbazi and Daugavpils. We are also building two new large scale manufacturing plants to help us to reach the increasing market demands.

Green renewable energy

Environment is important to us: in the production process we utilize solar energy and wood residues. Sustainable foresting and green renewable energy drive our business forward.
